Back to Church Sunday: Come as You Are

THE BIG WELCOME

Everyone is very welcome to all our services, but on Sunday 26th September we will be having a particular service to invite and welcome people to who may not normally come to church. After the service we will be having a lunch that everyone is invited to stay on to. It will be part of the Baptist Union’s BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY campaign. Please do invite people to this service and come yourself.

Holy Week

We placed prayer stations in our worship area:

We used images from ‘The Christ We Share’ material. People could come in and look at a picture, read a meditation, and say a short prayer.

Good Friday

We shared a short service with Holy Trinity Parish Church and Lenton Methodist Church.

This was followed by two prayer walks in the locality. We stopped to pray at various places, meeting at Lenton Rec and then processed back to church… for soup and rolls.

Baptisms

On the Easter Sunday, Alice, Tom and James were baptised in a wonderful service to mark an important stage for them on their journey through life with Christ.
